Refund and cancellation policy – ​​Obouo Play

1. Subject

This Policy specifies the cancellation and refund conditions applicable to Obouo Play offers (paid subscriptions and, where applicable, rentals/purchases by the act – TVOD). It supplements the General Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy.

2. Purchasing channels

- Subscriptions and in-app purchases made via Apple App Store and Google Play are governed by the rules of these platforms. Cancellation/refund requests must be made directly to the store used.

- Payments made via other compatible means (mobile payment, etc.) follow this Policy and, where applicable, the conditions of the payment provider concerned.

3. Canceling a subscription

- You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings on the store used (Apple/Google) or according to the option offered in the application.

- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already invoiced; access to the service continues until this date.

- Unless otherwise stated, there is no pro rata refund for the periods started.

4. Free trial

- If a free trial is offered, you will not be charged if you cancel before the trial ends.

- If you do not cancel before the end of the trial, the subscription automatically renews at the current rate.

5. Right of withdrawal (digital content)

- In accordance with applicable regulations, the right of withdrawal for digital content may not apply once execution has begun with your express agreement.

- As provided in our General Terms and Conditions, the subscriber expressly waives his right of withdrawal from the first use of the service (e.g. connection and reading content).

6. Refunds – subscriptions

- Apple App Store: refunds are managed by Apple according to its own criteria. Please submit the request through Apple Purchase History.

- Google Play: refunds are managed by Google according to its own criteria. Please use the Google Play Help Center to initiate the request.

- Other ways: contact the payment provider first if they offer a dedicated process; if necessary, contact our support (see section 12).

- Refunds are not granted in the event of significant use of the service during the billed period, unless otherwise provided by legal provisions or proven billing error (e.g. double debit).

7. Reimbursements – TVOD (rental/purchase per act)

- A refund may be considered if the content is defective or unavailable for a prolonged period despite our attempts to resolve it.

- No refund is due if unavailability results from your environment (unstable internet connection, incompatible device, system settings or local restrictions).

- No refunds are granted after significant consumption (e.g. substantial viewing) or after the reading window has expired.

8. Fees, promotions and gifts

- Promotional codes, gift cards or free benefits are neither refundable nor convertible into cash.

- Price changes do not apply retroactively to periods already billed.

9. Duplicate charges, fraud, payment disputes

- In the event of a proven duplicate debit, a refund will be initiated by the store or, depending on the channel, by our support after verification.

- In the event of a bank dispute (chargeback), access to the account may be temporarily suspended while the file is being processed.

10. Processing times

- Processing times vary depending on the store and the payment method (generally a few working days after validation).

- Once the reimbursement has been validated, the recredit may take additional time depending on your financial institution.

11. Data and account deletion

- Canceling a subscription does not automatically imply the deletion of your account and your data.
